What Are The Ways Or Techniques You Use Or May Use In Order To Have More Engaging In Your Blogs As To Help Our Dear HIVE Social Media?
There are a plethora of factors and variables that make social media successful, one of the main ones besides marketing, is their usage and the quantity of engament they may also find. We have great examples such as Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Twitter as many others. Taking the latter into account, individuals can get things to another level and monetize or create gainings via their original posting, we all know that.
I've noticed the lack of engaging, real engaging on Steem and now HIVE. Despite being a social media with not so many active users like the aforementioned, we still have a chance to do what I call "microblogging!", it is impressive the number of comments of people that have huge stake compared to the ones who have not so much. I have even seen posts with $50+ votes but no comment in them. Why does that happen? Do you really consume content or you just vote titles or good thumbnails? Do you comment only on posts of people with huge stake? What about the others? Do you chat a lot on discord in order to promote yourself? Do you use a Twitter handle? What are the main reasons that motivate you to say, "hey, I'm gonna comment on this one and even share it"
In order to take HIVE to new heights, engaging, yes, the old engaging technique is a must, but not only among friends or the good and wasted circle jerking, if our mission is to bring in new users as investors. Make them feel welcome is one the to do things we have to take into account. sharing other people's content is also good in this endeavour. Why do you think Ask The Hive was created on the first place? There are also many initiatives like the ones @ocd and @theycallmedan put on the table. What do think is the reason behind? Just to get a quick buck? Is circle jerking the answer? Common!

At first when I started here, it's just posting everyday and waiting for some magic to happen.
Eventually I realised the fact that more than some quality content I need to be social. I started with twitter and discord.
I've messaged hundreds of people about sharing some views improve my blog. I think nearly half amount of people ignored. Some was busy.But there was some magical people I've found here. Who helped me and put some interest in me more than I've seen in other people in my life.
Made some good friends, but still not a lot.
Your points are all correct man, most of the likes are coming just after seeing the thumbanails or dollars they have earned on the last minute. I have posts which have comments more than the upvotes.
Those are my favourite ones, where we had lovely conversation about a common interest.
Good to see you here brother, and yeah, although engaging is a "kept" secret in order to have success it seems that is not working so well around here. The good thing is that we can always evolve for the better. Regards champ!
It is a struggle to get engagement. I devote time and effort every day engaging peeps in Hive, and it isn't easy. Some just do not reciprocate (makes me think that they must feel that their articles are the gods gift to hive or something, LOL). Others think they deserve comments, and yet will not take the time to respond to comments received, let alone expect them to visit my article after I comment on their articles. Yup, I am venting, and thank you for indulging me.
And so I am very grateful to many, many others here who really value the engagement they receive, as I am indebted and encouraged always by the wonderful people in the Hive community who promote its growth by sincere engagement. Numerous friendships are developed in this community, and my social media life is enriched because of them. I hope to be a true asset to this community by only putting out only the best article that I can capable of and in my little way support those who do the same.
