Can You Recommend Outstanding Authors To Follow?

Recently my feed has started to look a bit too quiet. Particularly on Saturdays and Sundays there isn't much to read. I follow about 400 authors and there seem to be many who have fallen off the wagon at some point.

I like great photography posts, preferably by professional or high-level amateur photographers. Anyone who has written tutorials on any particular type of photography such as astrophotography would be of particular interest. I'm also interested in insightful commentators on economics and crypto economics in particular. I like reading about blockchain tech as well. If you know anyone who's into history and writes good posts about it, I'm all ears. And if you know anyone who makes great drone videos, please let me know.

P.S. I'd love to hear about new authors without a massive following.

Can't wait for this network to lower the bar for content creation other than v/blogging. People wanna work but we don't have much for them to do :(

Content and engagement beget more of the same. There is no reason to treat Hive as a crypto soup kitchen, if you will, where the polite thing to do is not look like you're going after the rewards too eagerly by posting too much. Of course, if you have a lot of large autos set on your account, you might lose them if you post too much casual content.

I'd say it's fully possible to do well reward-wise even without autos.

All I'm saying is that users who earn rewards here do it with no guarantees.
People put in work, build their social networks, and hope for the best.

I'm very keen on creating a system that allows users to work while having a more predictable or deserved payout. One that they can engage in without having to build up that social network. One that will judge the merits of their work immediately without having to make friends first. I suppose if the trending tab actually worked it would accomplish this. I've got other plans in mind.

Solid points.
I have the same view too.
There should be a reward system for the 'basic hivean' that interacts with the system with a lot of their time.

As you've pointed out. Posting (even when a person believes it to be quality) doesn't guarantee anything. "Friends with benefits" is the game here. You pointed that out also.. which @markkujantunen was unable to rebuke.

This cannot very easily be done under Proof-of-Brain.

But I think it could be possible to agree on the terms of a work contract on Hive. Money for deliverables. Another less formal version of the same is done regularly. Some whales here run initiatives where upvotes are given in exchange for tasks done.

The system I've come up with involves the gamification of NFTs.
You literally can't play the game without paying the content creator a royalty.
Just gotta make it... "just".

How can that be if EIP works so great? :)

I recommend you to check what @brianhphotos is doing. @digitalis is also making great pictures.

Perhaps most of them fell of the wagon way before the EIP came into effect. I've been around almost three and a half years. :)

Thank you very much! I'm a long-time follower of both.
