Here's where things get interesting. When this whole thing was being planned, I spoke out and said that charity was bogus 🤣🤣🤣. I said that there were kids in my own community, like our local birding group, that could use any donation for equipment like binoculars and physical bird guides to help them learn.

The brovest leaders seemed interested in helping our local birding group. I have talked to the group, and my wife has as well, they are soliciting funds from some local organizations as well - binoculars, bird guides, and shirts.

The Foundation SELVA, where my wife works, has agreed to sponsor some small number of guides and binoculars for the birding group in Libano. This fits within their mission of establishing biodiversity corridors in the region, because it is important that the local people can learn about the local biodiversity and its important features.

If it is deemed appropriate by @brovest, we will go right to the heart of the donation and use whatever funds are available to match or amplify what SELVA is trying to do to empower this local group of young birders.
