Building Eden's Infrastructure

One of the key differtiators of an experience of tropical paradise is the infrastructure involved. An inhospitable wilderness can be a tranquil paradise with good design and a little work.

On our arm, we need more places for people to sit down outside, to eat food, to read a book, maybe even to connect to the internet.

You may remember from our weekend update the following picture of our 'picnic bench in progress'.

Well now it has a roof, and we have leveled out a space for it. We have just spent the day moving gravel from one half of the farm, where the horse arrives, to the other side of the farm. Thankfully I have the help of José, who is always engaged in various tasks with us around the property.

There is still work to do! This afternoon will see us try to paint some more metal while the weather is nice, in order too weld the table and benches. These will be finished with wooden benches and tabletop.

It still remains uncharacteristically rainy for this late in the year, but we are motivated to take these successes on to our EcoDome project.
