Watercolor Painting: Dance Me To The End Of Love ❤️🎻

I have been jamming to the Civil Wars' version of Leonard Cohen's song "Dance Me To The End Of Love". I never paid attention to how sensually beautiful this song actually was. It just so happened that I was listening to this as I found this few years old painting of mine right at that moment! It felt kinda surreal especially with the song in the background. I have always loved this painting because it is also when I realised that I definitely had some potential in watercolors (I wasn’t too confident in painting skin tones then). Also, moments like these which are perfectly frozen in time are some of my absolute favourite things to paint.

I have been watching some figure skating lately which I used to LOVE watching as a kid. I remember being hooked to the figure skating events (solo & teams) in the olympics and being beyond excited to watch them as soon as they were broadcasted. Someday I would like to give it a shot for sure, just to experience the sport maybe :) There is something extraordinarily beautiful about the movements, fluidity, transitions all while a person is in motion. However team events are what I really looked forward to as they were magnificent to watch. Two people working in perfect sync, almost like a shadow self and dancing while the rest of the world is in a blur..!
