Trying to make Katniss Everdeen - Practice
Today I bring you a version of Katniss Everdeen, because I started little by little to make this drawing because it's the first one I'm doing this way, I'm happy? not so much I still don't reach the level I want but little by little I'm getting there, making this drawing I realized that I need to practice a lot the face features.
Que pasa compañeros como están? hoy les traigo una versión de Katniss Everdeen, pues comencé poco a poco a realizar este dibujo porque es el primero que hago de esta forma, estoy contento? no tanto aun no alcanzo el nivel que quiero pero poco a poco voy llegando a ello, haciendo este dibujo me di cuenta que necesito practicar mucho las facciones de la cara.
Process / Proceso
Boceto / Sketch
The sketch was made little by little guided by the reference image.
El boceto fue realizado poco a poco guiado por la imagen de referencia.
Painted / Pintado
The first thing I wanted to paint was the hair, a little different from what I have practiced these days and I liked it a lot, I still have some mistakes but nothing serious, the second thing was to paint the skin color and details, always guiding me with the reference photo, while towards this drawing I realized that I still need practice in the facial features, my idea is to get a similar or identical result to the character I'm tracing, so in the next posts I'll be practicing more than all the facial features, if any of you have any tutorial or advice you can leave it for me below in the comments section.
Lo primero que quise pintar fue el pelo, un poco diferente a lo que he practicado estos días y me gusto bastante, todavía tengo algunos errores pero nada grave, lo segundo fue a pintar el color de piel y los detalles, siempre guiándome con la foto de referencia, mientras hacia este dibujo me di cuenta que sigo necesitando practica en las facciones faciales, mi idea es conseguir un resultado parecido o idéntico al personaje que estoy trazando, por eso en los siguientes post estaré practicando mas que todo las facciones faciales, si alguno de ustedes tiene algún tutorial o consejos me los pueden dejar abajo en la sección de comentarios.
Shadows / Sombras
The shadows are on the left side of the drawing because the shadows would come from a sun on the right side, I was placing the shadows on the hair and skin for a while.
Las sombras están al lado izquierdo del dibujo pues los brillos vendrían de un sol de la parte derecha, estuve un rato colocando las sombras en el pelo y en la piel.
Lights / Luces
I placed the lights on the right side because of the whole drawing little by little with a layer of illumination and a half yellow.
Las luces las coloque del lado derecho porque de todo el el dibujo poco a poco con una capa de iluminación y tuno medio amarillo.
Details / Detalles
The details that I added are mostly shiny hair and a few shadows. As I said in the intro of the post, I must improve more the features of the face, because I still don't see much resemblance to Katniss, so I have to practice more.
Los detalles que agregue en su mayoria son de brillos en el cabello y alguna que otra sombra, Como les dije en la intro del post, debo mejorar mas mas las facciones de la cara, porque aun no le veo mucho parecido a Katniss, asi que toca practicar mas.

Even before i opened this post, i realized it was katniss everdeen... the hunger games movies are my favorites....
When i first stated drawing i actually tried to draw the scene where rue dies in katniss's arms.... that came out so horrible back then...
Your portrait, by the way looks pretty good. Just need a bit more knowledge about forms....
