Logo Design Process - Maeloonies

Brief Details

I really enjoyed creating this logo design for this fictional company. Like i have said already, the whole aim of this my logo design process series is show you process that goes into creating logo designs and the idea concept and how the ideas were implemented in the logo design. The aim is also to serve as an inspirational content for aspiring logo designers to also see and learn the ideas that go into creating a logo design.

I try to include the idea concept in my logo design process, so as to show that the tool doesn't matter rather the thinking and concepts matter. This means that you can create a logo design in any vector design tool. For me, i make use of illustrator. For this fictional company, it focuses on developments and collaborations withing the minecraft ecosystem. The core focus of the project is on collaboration, developments, team work.

With the core focus in mind, i began to brainstorm ideas and concepts until i came up with an effective idea concept for the project. After sketching out my idea, it was time to go into illustrator to create the vector design. Looking at my process, you can see that the whole design is geometric and sqaures which was done to have that minecraft feel. The whole design started with a square and i then created more squares and positioned them in areas i wanted, created cutouts to create a dimension illusion. After that, i added the colour to complete the logo design.
