My Colour Pencil Painting Of A Hummingbird

Hi Friends☺️. Today I want to show how I made this painting of a colourful bird sitting on a tree with my colour pencils. The bird in this drawing is a Hummingbird which is one of the few small birds that can have so many blend of colours on them. The colours I used for the painting are black, blue, violet, pink and purple, red, orange, yellow and green). Yeah, I know. Quite alot of colours for a bird..haha😃.

These are the stages.

1. Sketching out the bird
   

2. Using the black colour for the dark parts of the bird and tree branch.
   

3. Painting the bird with the red, blue, violet, green, orange and yellow colour.
   

4.Painting the flowers on the tree
