Old Man Watercolor Painting Process

Hi everyone, sharing with you today a watercolor portrait of an old man. This was more of a practice piece compared to my previous paintings so I experimented with a range of colours, did loose brush strokes and was less concerened with the outcome. Sometimes especially with watercolour a quick piece is more effective than a detailed meticulous one. The process from start to finish is shown below.
Completed on A3 300gsm watercolour paper over 1-2 hours.
