Hello! it has been a while since I have posted something here. I took a break for a while but I am hoping to get back to posting and sharing my artwork!

This is a digital piece I did using the program Clip studio paint.

First I started with my lineart and base colours.

I always really like the look of just the base colours and I'm always afraid to mess up the drawing with shading. Those little blobs of colour on the side make up my colour pallet. I like to plan my colours out before I start colouring so that they all look cohesive.

Shading starting with the skin. I spent a lot of time shading her skin and I fussed with it a lot. I used a mirror while I was drawing for the hand position and I probably looked really silly squishing my own face while drawing.😅

I took significantly less time on all the rest of the shading, I think I got tired after spending so much time on her face.

With some final touches, my drawing is complete!

Thanks for stopping by!

Absolutely beautiful. I love her facial expression and the way you made those shadings. Wish I could start creating digital art.

Great work! I adore the pressure of the hand on her face. Never regret spending too much time on some details, cause details are the ones making the difference.
Also the contrast of warm orange skin tone and that deep royal blue is a smart pick, well done!

Thank you! I really appreciate it! Orange and blue contrast has always been my favorite colour pallet it reminds me very much of a sunset.

I could actually "feel" your words. Blue and orange is indeed a reminder of a beautiful sunset.
