Hello everyone! I hope you are feeling great, this week I present you something special that, well, I have several days preparing, and it is a DTIYS. In the artistic community of Instagram, a DTIYS stands for Drawing This In Your Style, it is an initiative that is based on taking as a reference the drawing that an artist arranges and drawing it in your style but keeping the essence of the original drawing.

It's not the first time I participate in a DIYTS but it's been quite some time since that, so I was encouraged to make my entry, this time, with the drawing of the artist @lauraklinked_art. I liked this drawing because it conveys beauty and femininity to me, plus, I thought I could adapt it very well to my style, so I got to work with it.

Process:

When I do a digital drawing, I usually do the sketch in digital too, but this time I chose to use paper and pencil, when I liked the idea I jumped to the computer to start digitizing it.

The step of adding the colors was faster because I followed the color palette of the initial image.

What I liked about this drawing is that it encouraged me to add elements that enrich the composition, I definitely want to work on making more dynamic poses that inspire some feeling or emotion.

I had some problems with the coloring in the middle of the process, especially with the face as I didn't really like the way it was turning out, so I decided to start again. I worked on the girl's hair and the moon's face, I focused especially on the coloring of its surface so that it wouldn't look like a flat body but would reflect some light.

Finally, with the airbrush I added the red and vibrant makeup on the girl's face and with a pointillism brush I thought about adding some texture on her skin and also on other areas, like the clouds and the moon itself.

And that's how it turned out, what do you think? Some of my favorite elements are that hand holding the moon, it's one of the prettiest I've ever drawn, I also like the finish of the hair a lot.

¡Hola a todos! Espero que se encuentren muy bien, esta semana les presento algo especial que, bueno, tengo varios días preparando, y es un DTIYS. En la comunidad artística de Instagram, un DTIYS son las siglas en inglés de Drawing This In Your Style, es una iniciativa que se basa en tomar como referencia el dibujo que un artista disponga y dibujarlo en tu estilo pero que mantenga la esencia del dibujo original.

No es la primera vez que participo en un DIYTS pero ha pasado bastante tiempo de eso, así que me animé a hacer mi entrada, en esta ocasión, con el dibujo de la artista @lauraklinked_art. Me gustó este dibujo porque me transmite belleza y feminidad, además, pensé que podría adaptarlo muy bien a mi estilo, así que me puse manos a la obra con él.

Proceso:

Cuando hago un dibujo en digital, el boceto normalmente lo hago en digital también, pero esta vez opté por usar papel y lápiz, cuando me gustó la idea salté a la computadora para empezar a digitalizarlo.

El paso de añadir los colores fue más rápido porque seguí la paleta de colores de la imagen inicial.

Lo que me gustó de este dibujo es que me animó a añadir elementos que enriquecen la composición, definitivamente quiero trabajar en hacer poses más dinámicas y que inspiren algún sentimiento o emoción.

Tuve algunos problemas con el coloreado a mitad del proceso, especialmente con el rostro ya que no me gustaba mucho el resultado de como iba quedando, así que decidí empezar de nuevo. Trabajé en el cabello de la chica y en el rostro de la luna, me enfoqué especialmente en el coloreado de su superficie para que no se viera como un cuerpo plano sino que se reflejara un poco de luz.

Finalmente, con el aerógrafo añadí el maquillaje rojo y vibrante en el rostro de la chica y con un pincel de puntillismo pensé en añadir un poco de textura sobre su piel y también en otras zonas, como las nubes y la propia luna.

Y así quedó el resultado. ¿Ustedes qué piensan? Algunos de mis elementos favoritos son esa mano que sostiene a la luna, es de las más lindas que he dibujado, también el acabado del cabello me gusta mucho.
