Nature~~ Derbid Planthopper and Ladybug

Derbid planthopper is also known long winged planthopper belongs to Derbidae family and it has been classified into true bug that is commonly found in the bushes or in little wood. It has a very small body which require me to be close enough to get the pictures. I used DSLR to take this beautiful winged insect that, when I came, was perching on the wild grass. I fancy finding such an interesting tiny creature that has a unique pattern of its wings. It is more like "blue batik" a traditional Indonesia garment.

Ladybug

Another small insect that I captured is Ladybug. An awesome beetle that is easy to find in the wood. It is also called ladybird, the symbol of good luck and human friendly which sometimes can be found sitting or crawling on our shoulders. Ladybug belongs to Coccinellidae, a widespread insects, where the Entomologists prefer to call this lovely beetle ladybird beetles or lady beetles instead of ladybug. Most ladybugs are plant-eater, such as aphids, and in doing so they help to protect crops.
