June 15th marked four years of me using the Hive platform. Yes formerly Steem yada-yada-yada. Saying the word Steem almost feels like someone saying 'Voldemort' in the Harry Potter series LOL.

Hive has seriously meant a lot to me these past four years. I always wanted to monetize my social media use or creations, and I found Hive.

Hive is the most honest and easily understood crypto system I'm aware of. People know social media, people know work and investment makes money. That's Hive man. It's epic.

Hive has helped my mental health

Yeah, bold statement I guess. Perhaps overdramatic or cringey to some. Oh well.

Hive has allowed me to maintain hope. Maintain goals of financial freedom in my future. Hive has existed for five years, I see no sign of it or the other tokens really going anywhere.

Call me crazy. I know a lot of people that create articles enjoy playing the doom and gloom game. Speculation and drama. What-ifs. Other coins, other platforms. Why Hive is slacking here, why it's slacking there.

Meanwhile Hive is still here, trucking along.

I can write and literally earn while helping fellow humans earn, based on my literal vote. I can promote and create the content I like. Reward users and content that I like. All of us can do this.

Hive is essentially reality becoming monetized. Yes, I get it 'phones are just screens, go on a hike bro and see nature' followed by more woke and/or hippy terms. But the thing is Hive can legitimize and, in a way, purify the internet more than ever.

People under-estimate the tremendous feeling of giving. People will feel way better when upvoting here, because their vote is not just a simple worthless virtual pat on the back. I truly think that kind gesture is so positive and can really positively change society. If modern day social media is already so influential, imagine what Hive can be capable of.

I'm a glass half full guy what can I say.

I have proof though too man.

Hive has literally helped my life. I have stayed on my feet through tough times I have paid bills, rent, paid for life, with HIVE, SPORTS, BRO, so many tokens.

Hive is on my mind every single day. It motivates and excites me the possibilities here. I truly believe if I were to go HAM and post daily, I could make an awesome income here. Anyone can.

Hive is a breath of fresh freaking air.

Not sure what the point of this post was if I'm being honest. I just wanted to write about how much I appreciate Hive and am grateful for it's existence.

I'm a bit ashamed I haven't been putting more effort in over the years here. I'd like that to change, but that's my problem I gotta take action.

I just think that Hive can really help a lot of people. Perhaps we can all thrive. Live prosperous, even.

Hive on for the next twenty years and beyond!
