Is Alice in the Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll, is too childish and fantasy novel to discuss here? Certainly , Not! Last September , I found scintillating lines in novel and since then it has become my favorite novel.

That's why I drew this drawing to blend my art with my life experience. I will discuss it at the end of blog.

Pictures taken in process of Drawing

I sketched out cat with pencil.

It was September of last year, I was calm when I entered the room and three Psychologists told us to begin the group discussion. They gave us a topic "Our goals shape our destiny" and everyone had to take stance on topic. After a little brainstorming , I had absolutely nothing in mind to take which side. In 10 minutes discussion, one had to talk in any case. Therefore, I decided to talk when third one finishes his argument. However, I didn't have any cogent argument to take side . Soliloquies tortured my mind to talk or not to talk and I was not sure whether to side with statement or not. But I was completely sangfroid and decided to take opposite stance. At the eleventh hour, I had an epiphany and some scintillating lines hit my mind that helped me to drive my point home.

Conversation between Cheshire cat and Alice in Chapter 6, Pig and Pepper:

Alice: “Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"

Cheshire cat: "That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."

Alice : "I don't much care where –"

Cheshire cat: "Then it doesn't matter which way you go.”

—Chapter 6, Pig and Pepper

Yes , these were the lines and I went in favor of statement by illustrating that we set our goals first and then try to achieve it . And it is fact that how one could reach to his destination if he did not set it for himself first. Fortunately, I remembered the entire conversation between Cheshire cat and Alice from novel.

When group discussion ended, one of my colleagues came to me and said, "Congrats, You did well and Would you mind if I ask about your major in studies ."
to which I responded with a smile and said, "Science."

Since that day, I have memorized some of the best lines from novel which I found intellectually productive. Although Lewis Carroll presented theme of animals and children in the novel, it offers philosophical themes to everyone.

Stay Safe and thank you for stopping by.
