Lhokseumawe City Museum

I took this photo at the Lhokseumawe City Museum in the morning before I went to play futsal. This museum is located on Jalan Teuku Hamzah Bendanara, Kuta Blang, Banda Sakti, Lhokseumawe City, Aceh City, precisely in front of the Islamic center mosque and is located between banks and offices. Lhokseumawe City Museum was founded in 2014, and the manager of this museum is the Lhokseumawe City Education and Culture Office.

Full ownership of this museum is given to the Lhokseumawe City government, and all people in Lhokseumawe have the right to protect it. The main building of this museum consists of an Aceh Traditional House, which was first seen when entering its territory and a hall for storing rice, a rice pounding device located beside the Aceh traditional house. Not all of the buildings are complete, but this one is like a Acehnese traditional house, and the hall for storing that morning is already there.

In this traditional Aceh house, it is complete with valuable items in the past such as swords, rencong, photos of Acehnese heroes, and others, but I couldn't go in there, maybe because the door hadn't been opened and no one was guarding it when it was morning. Even though the place is simple here, there have been events such as traditional dance competitions.
