How To Get Away With Murder Season Finale Review
I remember of the first times I started hearing and seeing about HTGAWM and admittedly at first it I didn't get the sudden popular fascination with murder, until I caught on that it was a tv show. I can be slow sometimes. Still, I didn't pay too much attention to the hype, at first.
But as luck would have it, having worked in court systems for nearly 2 decades, my pops was just as hooked, and since luckily we had a channel on which it was shown, we would watch it together as I was hoodwinked too.
Fast forward a few years and it's already at season 6 aka it's last season and I haven't kept up since the end of season 3, mostly because we no longer have the afromentioned channel. But youtube being youtube recommended me the trailer for the series finale Sunday and curiosity being the cat killer, I ignored and instead watched recap videos of season 1 through 5. As expected I got back into it really quickly. Even from the beginning you could tell it was the last season as the pacing was fast, betrayals were the norm and glimpses of Analise's funeral kept being hinted at.
I don't want to include spoilers in this post. I'll just say it was quite the adventure, that the characters are captivating, and that the last 20 minutes closed the show in such a monumental way it made me shed a few tears. Which isn't an often occurrence as I'm quite the emotional retard so kudos to the whole team!
