The article I'm sharing today was one of my first post in the crypto blogging industry, on steem. It's a brief one reminiscing of a family safari trip we did back in 2002. Enjoy!

These photos were taken while on a safari with the family back in 2002 in Tanzania. Looking back I realise at the time I probably didn't notice or particularly care about the majestic views and if I did, I certainly didn't take the time to really appreciate them.

Except for the lions, I couldn't wait to meet the lions as I was addicted to "The Lion King" and still might be to this day.

Only 10 at the time, I probably was hungry or too busy causing trouble with my brothers during the tour or even more likely, yearning for the next time I'd get to kick ass on our Playstation 1.

Long story short, I simply find it amazing how a few 18 years old photographs can make you vividly relive a moment, sometimes better than when they were taken;

Enough to make you want to go back, repeat the experience all over just to convince yourself it's not just nostalgia kicking in.

Ces photos ont été prises en Tanzanie lors d'un safari avec la famille en 2002. Quand j'y pense maintenant, je doute qu'à l'époque j'aie vraiment pris le temps d'admirer le paysage et les animaux dans toutes leurs splendeurs.

À part pour les lions bien sur, j'étais accro au "Roi Lion" et le suis toujours peut-être.

Agé de 10 ans, j'avais probablement faim ou me chamaillais avec mes frères durant la visite ou encore plus probable, avait hâte de faire un massacre sur notre PlayStation 1.

Mais bref, je trouve juste incroyable comment quelques vielles photos peuvent faire revivre un moment, des fois d'une manière plus vivide que lorsqu'on les prenaient;

À même tenter quelqu'un de réessayer l'expérience, juste pour se prouver que c'est pas juste de la nostalgie qu'on ressent.
