I have been testing out a new Hive Blockchain Game called Cryptobrewmasters. It has been several days maybe even a week. I also see users asking how long it would take to play the game. Most users would have been playing other Hive games already like Splinterlands, dCity, eXode, Rising Star and etc.

So if you have been playing some other games, one of your concerns may be the time that it takes to play a new game. So in this post I will be going through how long it takes me to play this game on a daily basis. The short answer is not long, and if you had played RisingStar before, it is quite similar in terms of time.

There are really only a limited number of actions you can perform in game at the moment, given that there game is still quite new. The actions are as follows:

1. Brew Beer
2. Do Daily Quests
3. Sell your Beer in game

There are other minor secondary actions, but the above pretty much sums up the main steps.

It may take you some time initially to get used to the game, for example, if you see the following image when you first log in:

You may need some time (30min) maybe to understand what each icon does etc.
However, after you familiarize yourself with the game. It really should takes you 10 - 20 minutes daily to play the game.

I know... 10 to 20 minutes... sounds like a short amount of time, and really that is really all you need every day. I am referring to the total amount of time you would spend per day, so you will need to perform actions throughtout the day, and the total amount of time spent should not exceed 10 -20 minutes in general per day.

It may actually take less time if you know what you are doing. Lets go throw the 3 main actions, and you will see why it should not take a lot of time.

1. Brew Beer

To brew beer, you need to click on the Beer Factory icon on the main screen:

Then you will see this screen

To Brew Beer you need 5 ingredients:

1. Brewing Water
2. Row Barley Malt
3. Local Bittering hops
4. Local Aroma hops
5. Yeast

Note: There is no dragging of items, you literally click on the block, and the game will let you know if you have that kind of ingredient. So it takes 10 clicks to complete your selection.

Then you click Start, and you will wait:

It currently takes around 6 hours to create 1 beer. However, you can speed it up with CBM tokens.

You can just go do other things, whilst you wait for the beer to be created in game. It should not take you more than 5 minutes per day to perform the above tasks. Later on there may be more options, which require more decisions, but for now, there are limited options so should be quick.

lets move on to the next action:

2. Do Daily Quests

On the main screen, you click on the Pub.

Then you click on Bulletin Board:

You will then see this:

Then you simply click on the quest that you would like to perform, and you will get ingredients.
There are 2 types of requests:

• Time
• Time and CBM - you will need to spend some CBM as there is a shorter wait time.

However, if you dont want to spend any CBM then just go for the Time quests.
Note that there is energy cost to each quest. If you dont have enough energy, simply wait as your energy will replenish over time. If you are impatient you can drink some beer in game to restore energy.

So if we are just talking about purely time quests, they range from 60 min upwards. So you just click and go do your own stuff. The above should really take no more than 5 minutes per day. There might be some decision making where you want to choose ingredients that you are missing, but with a few practice, you will know which ingredients you need.

Now lets move onto the last task:

3. Sell your Beer

On the main screen, you click on the Pub.

You click on the Counter in the middle:

So you can see I have 4 neutral beers and 2 Good beers. I can then sell them for CBM tokens.

Just a few clicks are required. There might be some decisions taking place here where you think certain beers will increase in price or decrease in price. However, this again should not take more than 5 minutes per day.

So based on the above, you can see that playing the game does not really require a lot of your time. It should take around 10 -20 minutes per day. You just need to know when to log back into the game to perform certain actions.
