I have been testing out a new Hive Blockchain Game called Cryptobrewmasters. I have been telling others about the games and thank you if you used the referral link. The question I got recently was "are there different grades of beer in game and how to get them"?

Yes, there are different grades of beer and you can get them at the moment.

There are currently 5 grades of Beer (ranking from most common to the least common):

1. N - Neutral
2. G - Good
3. O - Outstanding
4. E - Excellent
5. M - Masterpiece

You will notice this when you click on Beer Factory and input your ingredients (see below):

Your ingredients also have different grades, so if you use higher grade ingredients, there is a higher chance of you brewing a higher grade beer in game.

The above 5 grades apply to ingredient grades as well. When you look in your backpack, you will be able to tell the grade of your beer and ingredients based on the color of the border.

1. Neutral - Grey border
2. Good - Green border
3. Outstanding - Blue border
4. Excellent - Purple/pink border
5. Masterpiece - Gold border

Lets take a look at the distribution of beer grades based on 2 combination of ingredients

Beer Grade Example:

Example 1

To Brew Beer you need 5 ingredients:

1. Brewing Water (Good)
2. Row Barley Malt (Neutral)
3. Local Bittering hops (Neutral)
4. Local Aroma hops (Neutral)
5. Yeast (Neutral)

The Beer Grade distribution we get are as follows:

1. N - Neutral: 68.8%
2. G - Good: 25.6%
3. O - Outstanding: 4.27%
4. E - Excellent: 1.07%
5. M - Masterpiece: 0.27%

Since most of my ingredients are of Neutral Grade you can see that there is a high chance of brewing a Neutral grade Beer in game.

It is not impossible to brew a masterpiece grade beer, but the chances are very low.

Example 2

To Brew Beer you need 5 ingredients:

1. Brewing Water (Good)
2. Row Barley Malt (Good)
3. Local Bittering hops (Good)
4. Local Aroma hops (Good)
5. Yeast (Good)

The Beer Grade distribution we get are as follows:

1. N - Neutral: 2.61%
2. G - Good: 83.66%
3. O - Outstanding: 10.48%
4. E - Excellent: 2.61%
5. M - Masterpiece: 0.65%

Since most of my ingredients are of Good Grade now you can see that there is a higher chance of brewing a Good grade Beer in game.

It is not impossible to brew a masterpiece grade beer, but the chances are very low. However, will every ingredient at Good grade, the chances of brewing a Masterpiece Beer in game has more than doubled.

• 6 Neutral Grade Beer
• 4 Good Grade Beer

Have not brewed a Outstanding Grade Beer yet, but lets see how it goes.
