"Touch the Horizon"
This post is about our joint photoproject with Vika, which we did at the Land Art Symposium in 2019.
The theme of that year was "Horizon".

In Ukraine, in the Sumy region, there is a very beautiful natural place, very poetic and picturesque. There are many related stories of my life with it. About which I will definitely write more than once :)
Here we met Vika 5 years ago)

There is a chalk quarry, forests, hills, a river, fields, a lot of space, sky, wind and freedom.
Since childhood, I came to this place in the summer, first with my parents, and then in my youth both only myself and with friends.
Many people who have visited this place once fall in love with it for all life)

I think precisely for the sake of the picturesqueness and diversity of this place, artists have been coming here every year for more than 20 years for the annual land-art symposium - the only one in Ukraine in the direction of land-art art.

The idea of ​​our photo project is that these artificial hands touch the horizon - a line connecting different elements.
Our material world is made up of 5 elements, 5 elements - earth, fire, air, water and ether.

Artificial hands convey the idea of ​​non-belonging to a certain person, as individual who do not have his own ego.
We made them ourselves from papier-mâché.
