Also important transactions, such as financial transactions, are conducted through this medium. There seems to be a tremendous increase in the use of different types of online tools and apps. In this situation, the crime of cyber fraud seems to have increased.

Rumors of epidemics and social isolation are exacerbating the situation. Hackers and cyber criminals have taken full advantage of this opportunity. In such a frightening environment, they can easily see their prey. Corona virus information / services are sent via email or link to banks, insurance providers, hospitals or similar. Receiving an email or link in such a way that no one will suspect, the victim easily falls victim and clicks on the fraudulent link / URL in the mail.

Recently a 48-year-old man received an email about saving a file while working from home and as soon as he clicked on the link, a cyber virus attacked his computer system. All his data and files were lost. This is not the only instance or an isolated incident. Nowadays people are very skeptical about such attacks and cyber criminals are looking for new ways to trap them. Cyber criminals are making tricks that will appeal to someone, such as a charity for the needy or an insurance claim in a critical situation.

Right now everyone is worried. Cyber criminals and hackers take advantage of this mental state to send phishing mails to gain control of your computer. Phishing is the number one choice in the cyber crime world. Therefore, in the current global crisis, it is imperative that you be more careful about unsolicited mails.

Don't let any kind of fear or confusion get in the way. Today, hackers have also become talented. They can hack into your device and steal data by sending fraudulent links in the guise of providing information about Covid-19.

Thanks
