Photo Editing Experiment #1 - My attempt to attend an event by @pixaroma
Today, I am arrogantly trying to take part without an invitation to @pixaroma's photo-processing initiative called "Photo Editing Experiment".
I will explain why I do it. As I told @pixaroma, in 2017, in the Russian-language fork of Steemit, which is called Golos, I was a participant in an interesting challenge. For more than six months, the participants of this challenge offered their photos for processing, and then each participant processed all the submitted photos. Each participant shared their results. Later, a similar contest was even organized in the photo community, where the jury selected and awarded the authors of the most successful photo processing options.
Later, Steemit also had a similar challenge, which seems to be called Photogames. But I really did not have time to participate in it.
After telling @pixaroma about this, I pushed a little and decided to try to process the photos that were provided to him.
And now I want to share these results. I hope that the photos authors and @pixaroma will not mind. Could this challenge be revived in this way here on Hive?
And now my photo processing:

I worked a little with the light balance and clarity аor this photo, straightened the horizon. But something was missing.
Then I tried the black and white version.

Here, too, a little work with the light balance, tilt and verticals.

Also quite simple work with light balance, tilt and verticals.

To begin with, I followed the same standard procedures, but there was still work to do. This is a broken spot in the sky due to shooting against the sun.
I'm not at all a master of retouching in Photoshop and that’s what I got. Not quite natural, but the white spot bothered me more.
And I also tried to apply one of my favorite presets.

Here, as in other photos, I corrected the horizon, and also played with the saturation of colors.

And finally, I know that @pixaroma processes my photo as well - I decided to give it a second life. Processed completely from scratch.

Nice editing, is always a challenge to work with jpg and small images, plus you have to put your own touch there and your experience :)
Thank you! Glad you like my work 8)
Thank you for beautifying my photo. I think it can be an interesting challenge if @pixaroma agrees.
Glad you like it. Thank you too!
With pleasure!
