The uncertain course through murky times

Rain in Boston

I have promised my readers that I would write more. I know I have failed at that. I am sorry.

I guess overall confusion, rapidly changing circumstances and some personal matters, such as drop in income and resulting financial problems also had something to do with that.At any rate, those are just excuses. My main mistake was my somewhat perfectionist intent to get data, verify it and provide proper analysis. And that was simply hardly an option - or perhaps I just failed to discern quality data in the sea of disinformation. Be that as it may, that was a mistake and I will seek to correct that. Because while my analysis may be falling short, the mainstream media mostly just offers a narrative, oftentimes an utterly false one - and any attempt at actually discerning the truth is better than that sort of manipulation.

So we had several months of lockdowns and closures of various degrees of severity. People were sanctioned for something as benign as surfing solo off a Calironia beach or just going for a drive. And then the killing of Geroge Floyd happened - and they were followed by massive protests. And it is as if a switch were thrown - all layers of official establishment, it seemed, including the medical establishment, were OK with that. In some places, like the New York City, it looks like Black Lives Matter protests are now the only authorized mass gatherings.

The society is changing rapidly in what I believe is an ongoing attempted coup. The pattern it follows is somewhat akin to the Chinese Cultural Revolution of the 1960's. It is deadly serious, and it is fueled by lies. And I truly believe the truth is the best antidote. It is time to deliver it, wherever we can, whenever we can.
