Helping Hive - Reaching More Audience

avatar

With the recent inclusion of the Referral Program on HiveOnBoard, (you can read the post here), I have added HiveOnoard link on my website https://www.codingdefined.com/.

My website was started like 5 years back thinking blogging will give me passive income, though it gave me a few cents because of the AdSense, I have not stopped there and continued writing. Now usually I get around 1.2K to 1.3K users every week even though I don't write much. So I thought of utilizing that users count so that I can bring some people out here on Hive. I have created my referral link as shown above and thus attached it to my website.

Some Stats of my website from last week, there is no promotion, no social media posts, pure organic audience. Even if one percent joins i.e. around 12-13 new users per week, that's not bad. And thus I am pretty sure out of those 12-13 new users mostly developers will be joining. I am hopeful that I can bring more users to the Hive ecosystem.

Look and Feel on CodingDefined.com. When a user clicks on the image it will take them to HiveOnBoard directly and thus they can create the account from there.

That's good to hear abt your blog getting a good daily visits.
I promoted and helped many of my friends, but all they expect is a $100 foa their first post 😁😁 that's when I understood promoting anything to a known person is much difficult than unknows following us.
You will definate get some.new people here 👍

Yepp, same problem, I invited 10-15 people on steemit...they posted a couple of posts and stopped because they were not making 100's of $.

So I need to figure out a different way to pitch people to come to hive so that they are not disappointed by the rewards they earn in the first few posts.

May be more of a success stories would motivate few. People need patience atleast till they find what they are capable of 😊
All we can do is show them the boat 😬

Yepp, well I once recommended a friend of mine....he didn't stayed here for more than a week.

However, he suggested @travel-cuisine and she is here for 2 years now.

Feels good.

Yes thats the problem, we advertise Hive as a quick money making scheme and thus once they dont get what they want, people leave. We have to adverstise well and thus we can make this community bigger and better.

That's really cool, I was thinking about affiliate system, I have a few social media channels where I can push that affiliate link.

I just need to figure the right angle so that people will trust and come onboard hive.

As of now @hiveonboard, provides 3% but I am not sure how they are gonna do it, by the beneficiary or something else. Yes, trust is one of the factors which we need to address before asking people to come on board.
