I do believe if there is overwhelming evidence in this then life sentences should be issued. The Ministers who stole food parcels destined for the people should rot in jail alongside them.
Today the President of South Africa asked an for an inter-ministerial committee to probe fraud regarding PPE tenders. This week his spokesperson was suspended after her husband was caught up in a tender scandal. This can only carry on for so long before the people turn. This is why certain individuals are pushing for the lock down to continue as they are the ones benefiting by making the pandemic worse.More things to sell and steal making them extremely wealthy whilst others suffer. Always obvious in Africa as there is always an underlying reason. We have been in lock down since March and set to continue for possibly the remainder of this year.

The list will be interesting if it is made public as to how many ministers are implicated through direct family and friends.
The problem is no one trusts anything the Government says. The actions over the past few months have been nothing but disgraceful and immoral. Appointing other ministers that no one has any confidence in is going to solve what exactly? Making the list public after they have protected their friends and family hanging others out to dry and taking the fall.

The last one on the list is the one who caused the havoc with the cigarette ban. I think everyone is hoping she is involved in this somewhere.
Taking a hard stance now by Ramaphosa is not suddenly going to make all things right again. His own flesh and blood with his son is implicated in another tender scandal. Ramaphosa is a billionaire so he doesn't need the money himself as he has to have taken it already years ago. You don't just become rich from being in an influential position if you haven't been dodgy at some point yourself.
The problem will never go away as long as the ones found guilty just end up walking away. That isn't really true as there never seems to be any closure on any of the matters raised. Crime seriously does pay and the everyday person in the street is treated badly as those policing lower down are trying to steal what is left.

The crimes listed below are not small and there are many others that could be added to the list. It is not surprising why the country has no money left as it has all been looted by the ANC Government.
I just don't understand how a group of gangsters can win landslide elections every time. The people are starting to wake up yet how many years must this go on. How many chances does one Political Party have as the people are seriously suffering because of this. Change is needed drastically as there will be nothing left to steal.
I Don't get why suddenly the stealing is a problem and costing lives, when it was ALWAYS a problem and costing lives. All this is lip service, I have no faith in the ANC, they just suck at stealing compared to other government but they all the various degrees of dogshit and nepotism. This governance model simply cannot be fixed with "hiring ethical" people that's a dumb solution.
The sooner citizens separate their purchasing power from the state, the better. It's not only the government at fault but the entire nation for allowing this to go on and being okay I'm not going to care as long as I am okay, which is how they get away with this
This is Africa for you. The entire continent chokes under the hands of some greedy and corrupt politicians and government officials. Kenya is dealing with the same... It's all about their golden circle... Not the suffering citizens! Sigh.
