Chicken Biryani recipe, easy cooking and happy learning

Hello foodies,

Hope you all are doing good and eating healthy and tasty dishes at home or restaurant. Today I am going to present a traditional Bangladeshi food recipe to you. Yes, the name of the food is Chicken Biryani. Chicken Biryani is a very much popular and tasty food to the people of this region, specially in Bangladesh. For any kind of special occasions people cook this item at home. For big occasions like marriage ceremonies, people also take this food with great interest.

The other day I requested my wife to cook this item at home. She agreed to my request. When she started cooking, I took the opportunity to learn this item cooking. I did not forget to take my phone with me to capture some pictures of cooking. Here in this post I will be trying to represent the chicken Biryani cooking with you all.

So, let’s start with the ingredients of cooking first. We will be needing below items to cook this food. Here sharing the picture and item description below.

  1. Flavoured rice (Polao rice)-1/2 KG
  2. Chicken- 1 KG
  3. Sweet and sour curd- One cup each
  4. Oil
  5. Ginger
  6. Garlic
  7. Onion
  8. Chilli
  9. Different spices

First, we need to cut chicken small pieces as per requirement. Then wash rice and chicken properly. Now mix ginger, garlic, onion, chilli with chicken properly as required. Now add some salt as required. Then add sweet and sour curd each one cup with the chicken which we already prepared. Then marinade the mixture for half an hour.

Then take one cup of oil in a fry pan and heat it for few minutes. Then put the the chicken mixture with it. Now cook it until boil. Then add some peas with it. It will increase the taste of the Biryani.

Now,we have to start rice cooking. First, take a rice cooking dish and put some oil into it. Wait some time to heat the oil. Then add a little amount of garlic, ginger and some flavoured spices with it. Add some salt as required. Then add the rice with it and pour boiled water with the rice. You have to take double amount of water than the rice weight. Then wait until the rice is about to boil.

When the rice is about to boil, spread the cooked chicken over it and heat for 10 minutes will low flame covering the dish. Then check the taste of the food. If the taste is OK, the cooking is finished. Now you can present it to your beloved ones.

Now the time to take the Biryani what we cooked. Before that we prepared some fresh vegetables salad. Here are the pictures.
