Feeling a bit better, so I went for a ride - OneWheel Adventures
Ludicrous Speed
The OneWheel XR has a few different riding profiles on it. I have been taking it easy on the OneWheel since I got it. But today, I felt like I needed to turn things up a notch, so I activated the Delirium riding profile.
This profile is the strongest and fastest profile that you can use. I had been using the Mission profile because that is a bit slower, which is good for learning, and it is nice and buttery so it makes you feel like you are floating over the road.
I didn't think that there would be much of a difference in the way the OneWheel rides, but there is a very noticeable difference going to Delirium. Going uphills is a breeze and off roading is so much easier to control. This motor on this thing continues to impress me with how strong it is, especially since I am about 240 pounds and it shoots me down the trails without any issues.
I took some video with my GoPro, that I will include at the end of this post, but I also used my GoPro to take some pictures. I had never used my old GoPro to take pictures, because I heard the quality of the Hero 4 wasn't that great, but the GoPro Hero 8 has some pretty impressive quality for taking pictures.
The sky is nice and vibrant today, which is good because the past week or so, it has been nothing but smoke in the sky from the fires all over. I can't wait to be able to go scuba diving on some beach one day and take my GoPro under the water and get some sweet fish pictures. Who knows when any of that will be possible because of this stupid virus.
Hopefully we can get back to normal in the coming months. I can't wait to start traveling again and take my kids out of the US so they can see how awesome the world is and how great people are all over.
Traveling is one of my favorite things to do because I love seeing the different cultures and interacting with people from around the world. I also love eating food, so going new places is always a treat when I get to eat something new.

Does that thing got a HEMI? You never answered if you can bust mad wheelies on those things. Or technically, is it always riding out a wheelie? hahaha

I am always riding a wheelie on it. I did go over some small jumps on it today and smacked the tail on the ground, so it was sort of doing a wheelie.

I know camera angle has a lot to do with it, but it looks like I can see the increased speed. Pretty darn cool.
I don't know when gopro went to serious still pictures, but it's been a year or two. I have a buddy that uses one on his drone and takes some dammed impressive stills.
The better you get, the more fun you have. I guess that's the rule for most things...

I see this for the first time! :) The photos look great. I want to go back to normal too. We canceled all our plans because of illness. This is quite annoying.
Pretty sweet man, I remember seeing these a year or two ago and drooling over them. Looks like you've roughed it up a bit too which is nice to see. I am super impressed that its an off road too! Closest we got to something like this was an off road segway. That was an awesome experience too but this is a whole other level!
They are amazing and well worth the money. I just changed out the bumpers on mine so it looks nice and fresh for now.
