It is hard to believe that we have had Rusty for almost a year now. It seems like just yesterday that he was just a fragile little kitten that could fit in the palm of my hand.
He is still the most loving cat in the whole world. He will come up to use and stretch his arms out for us to pick him up and then wrap his arms around our necks and give us the softest hugs. I am so glad that my wife and I decided to rescue him and his brother Keiichi.
Well, it is time for another cat post for today. Rusty is a super playful kitten and has been having a hard time with learning to use the litter box lately, so my daughter and I took him outside to play for a while and maybe he would go potty out and not on the carpet.
Rusty was loving the grass. He wouldn't sit still very long for me to get may pictures of him because after I would get one or two pictures, he would take off running.
He was going crazy, running all over the place and jumping through the glass and then he noticed my son's old busted down car sitting in the driveway and took off towards that.
He must have felt it was safe under the car or something because once he got under there, he didn't want to come out. He just wanted to explore.
I finally got Rusty out from under the car and brought him to a different area of the yard and let him chill by a tree.
He started biting on the leaves and at one point tried to climb the tree. I tried getting a picture of it, but he was too fast and had jumped down before I was able to get around to get a decent angle.
All of this playing and jumping around made Rusty a bit tired, so he decided it was time to bask in the sun and relax.
The next installment of Rusty's Adventures will have an introduction of his brother. My son named him after a Japanese drift racer, so I don't remember what his name is. He is just as cute as Rusty and together, those two has a lot of fun.
Rusty is ready for a nap and ready to go inside. Stay tuned for the next installment of Rusty's Adventures. Coming soon to a blockchain near you.
