During a trip some time ago, my friends and I had the opportunity to stop for a moment in Permata District, Bener Meriah, Aceh province, Indonesia.

This area, which is located at the foot of Mount Bener Meriah, is one of the coffee production centers in Aceh province, so it's no wonder that along the national road, there is a traditional coffee drying area.

There is no special land, the local community only uses the road and spreads a tarp as a base.

When we asked, it turned out that the heat from the road could help dry the coffee beans that were drying there. Of course the heat of asphalt and special land is very different.

That is why the people there, especially coffee farmers, dry the coffee on the road. I had time to practice several ways to dry and dissolve coffee beans that have been placed on a tarp.

And this was a very pleasant experience, it didn't stop there for long. We continued our journey to the cold city of Takengon, Central Aceh, Aceh Province, Indonesia.
