Oyster Farmers
My city is considered one of the areas that is quite close to water, be it the ocean or the river that stretches and empties into the ocean. The condition of the area which has a significant level of salty water is of course one of the centers for natural oyster production.
Oysters have become a livelihood for a number of middle-aged women who do not want to linger at home without economic-generating activities for them.
The absence and absence of modern oyster farming methods and technology forces oyster farmers to rely on only limited equipment and hunt for oysters in places that are considered sufficient to have a lot of oyster ecosystems.
This morning I found oyster farmers who had just returned from looking for oysters they had hunted, they only used jute as a container to fill the oysters and brought them home to then peel them and then sell them at prices starting from IDR 5000, - up to IDR 25,000.
I always feel photos in black-and-white are very powerful. This picture here with the fancy car but people walking by caring satchels, is strong in black-and-white.
Thank you for appreciated my friend :)
