Art Project

Hi everyone!
The photo above is a creation of needle felted cat and her friend Mr.Cloud.
The photo below is what it supposed to look like if you are very skilled at this kind of stuff.
If you are wondering what happened to @djynn’s crafty hands...well, nothing happened. I just didn’t use them LOL
Although, I’m not confident I can follow the instructions haha.
They are made by my 10 year-old daughter. She gave up half-way on making it looks like the example but she finished it and also she didn’t give up on being creative...look at Mr. Cloud. He looks like flattened ghost xD

上の写真は羊毛フェルトで作った猫と友達の雲さんです。
本当は下の写真のようになるはず、、、器用であれば、笑
おお〜ジンさん、ど〜した〜もっと器用だと思ったけどな〜ぷぷっと思っているそこのアナタ！笑
まあ、私も作り方をちゃんと読む方ではないので、どこまで出来るか分かりませんが、これは10歳の次女ちゃんの作品です。
途中で見本のように作るのは諦めたとか。。。笑
諦めても完成させて、プラス雲さんまで作ったところは褒めてあげたいと思いますw
雲さんの顔、オバケみたいでちょっと怖いですけどね、笑

Kids are really busy...they want to make mess after mess...
The next project she wanted to try was paper mache Easter eggs.
So here we go!
The glue is very easy to make.
I didn’t measure the ingredients but all you need is flour and water...a lot less flour than water...probably 1 part of flour to 5 to 10 parts of water.
Mix flour and water first then cook until it thickens.

子供って本当に次から次へと忙しい。。。散らかし方も半端ないです。
次のプロジェクトは張り子だそうで、もうすぐイースターなので、イースターエッグを作ってキャンディを入れるそうです。
のりはとても簡単に作れます。
私は分量をはからずに作ったのですが、小麦粉1に対して水は5から10くらいでしょうか。
よく混ぜてから火にかけてとろみがついたら出来上がりです。

We used balloons and some craft tissue paper today.

今日は風船とギフト用のカラーティシューペッパーを使いました。

Keep adding layers of paper on the balloon.

のりと紙を交互に何枚も重ねていきます。

Pepper came to help.

ペッパーが応援に来ました。

Maybe not haha

あ、違うかも。。。笑

Dry them over night then pop the balloons carefully.
My daughter was planning to fill them with candies but now she turned one of them into a Totoro doll house.
If you trim them, you can make them into a bowl as well ;)

翌日には乾いていると思います。
あとは風船を割って取り除くだけです。
イースター用に作ってキャンディを詰める予定だったのですが、ひとつはトトロのお家になっていましたwww
上の部分を切り取るとキャンディを入れるのに丁度いい入れ物にもなりますね。

Well, I must go now to check on my daughter. She said she was making some potion...mess...

さて、娘はどこへ。。。先程、魔法の水を作ると言ってどこかへ行ったのですが、、、まさかまた散らかしているのでは。。。
