Look up! / 上を向いて！

Hi everyone.
I hope you are coping ok during COVID-19 crisis.
Here is a quick drawing I made. I had a spare time because I couldn’t make it to work today.
Kids are on spring break at the moment although the school is closed indefinitely even after that.
My husband works at the bar so he is out of work because all the restraunts and the bars need to close or operate as take out.
Spas and beauty salons are closed as well as my pet food store.
I was lucky that the pet food store still delivers. Although, I panicked for a second because they closed so quickly.
Me? I work for small family business and they are open because their online order is getting really busy so they need to keep up with production and shipping. BUT! The photo below was the view I had all morning...I hate going to downtown...I had to look up the the sky often...
I take two buses, a ferry and one more bus to get to work (3 hours one way).
The first bus came alright but the second bus never arrived even passed the time which I can’t make it to the ferry departure.
I stood at the bus stop just to find out that not only my bus was canceled but the next one as well.
Anyways, I couldn’t make it to work today.
Actually I had hard time going home as well due to the road construction.
What a morning...
Although, I shouldn’t complain too much.
There are people out there actually battling with COVID-19.
My morning complaint would be nothing compared to that.
Wash your hands everyone! Practice social distancing, stay home as much as you can, be kind and be calm.
Don’t forget to look up sometimes. The cherry blossom is blooming!;)

こんにちは！コロナの影響で世界中が大変なことになっていますが、皆さん大丈夫かな？
今日は、仕事に行けなくて時間が出来たのでお絵描きを。。。
今、子供たちは春休み中ですが、春休み終了後も無期限でお休みが続く様子です。
旦那様はバー勤務なのですが、バーやレストランはテイクアウトを除いて閉店、美容院やスパなども閉まっています。開いているのはスーパーやドラッグストアくらいかと思います。
私の利用しているペットフードのお店も閉まってしまい、幸いにもデリバリーだけはしますというので良かったですが焦りました。
私はと言いますと、家族経営の会社に勤めているのですが、オンラインのオーダーが増えて製造と発送が大忙しです。
ので、今日も仕事に向かったのですが、バスが来ないーー；
バスを2つ、フェリー、そしてもう一つバスを乗り継いでの通勤なのですが、2つ目のバスがフェリーに間に合わない時間になっても来ないので、仕事行けないし。。。
バス停で悲しく、いつも乗るバスだけでなく次のバスもキャンセルになったと知る私なのでした。
そして帰り道、あちこちで道路工事が始まり、通れない。。。バス止まらない。。。全く散々な朝でした。
けれどコロナの最前線で戦っている方たちに比べたら、こんな私の愚痴などは比べものにならないですよね。
手洗い、ソーシャル・ディスタンシング(周りの人と距離をとること)、出来るだけ外出自粛、思いやり、落ち着いて。。。頑張りましょう。
上を向くことも忘れずに！こちらはまだまだ寒いのですが、桜が咲いてきましたよ〜
