Manchester City have started negotiations with Sevilla regarding their French center back, Jules Kounde. According to the Daily Mail, the Spanish club has already rejected a bid from the Manchester club for £30 Million - Kounde has a buy-out clause of a staggering £69 million, which is allegedly Sevilla's demanded price.

However, Kounde himself should be interested in joining Pep Guardiola's squad, which makes Sevilla consider meeting City for an amount lower than the buy-out clause.

The 21-year-old Frenchman came to Sevilla from French Bordeaux last year in a deal worth £12 Million - the club can thus look forward to a significant profit on Kounde if they choose to sell the player to City.

As a final twist to the deal, the team from Manchester has considered integrating Nicolas Otamendi into the negotiations to dampen the high price tag.
