You picked me up when I struggled to get through;
My heart was thrown and shattered;
You healed me,
Gave me hope when it seemed so out of reach;
When chaos flowed through my veins,
You filled me with peace,
showed me the light when there was only darkness;
Gave me comfort when my voice cried out in pain,
When the doubts screamed in my head;
You reassured me of hope,
Where there seemed to be nowhere to go;
You kept me going,
When weakness became all I knew, you sustained me with strength
When everyone turned around and left;
You came and stayed,
Not minding my excesses
You gave me a purpose when everything about life seemed so pointless,
Because you gave me a purpose when life seemed so pointless,
You filled my emptiness,
You helped me let all go, when I wanted to hold on,
When the void echoed with loneliness;
You showed me the beauty of life
The world showed me hatred and disaster;
But, you showed me the beautiful side of life,
Gave me a better life;
Am a hopeless being without you,
