Just south of Danang sleeps a hidden gem of a location. Nestled along the coast line lives Marble Mountain, it is a mountain of Sculpture hidden in an over grown jungle. This jagged tooth of a destination feels mysterious and lost even though one of the largest metropolitan areas is just a short distance away.
Today along with a friend we hiked up this mountain and discovered some of its wonders. As I processed the photos of the next few days I will upload them and share them with you.
Today here the first 10 images of the way up the mountain.
1 as we approach the gate, the many many stairs... Many stairs make themselves known. The photo doesn't really do justice of just how steep the stairs are.
2 littered like blood droplets along these whether marble steps, red petals from fallen flowers lay dying.
3 the first Vista reviewing however is amazing, will be more this is later on but here are two photos from the first stopping point

5 The first epic sculpture you come to is this wild vines of dragons coming out of the mountainside
The detail on these are astounding, I would very much so like one as a pet...
6 There is even this holy goldfish pond opposite of the dragons with magical fish swimming in it, I'm told that one of these fish will grant you a wish.

Looking at the dragons across the pond of fish sits Buddha. Ever watching those who adventure up the Mountian
8 these gates are looking out from the first pagoda you reach, this is looking east and that island out there is Cham island.
9 This is the first pagoda, all made of marble... There I say it's marvelous (Marbleous ?)
