Trying to solve NOTPRON - The Hardest Riddle Available on the Internet (Levels 1 - 4)

avatar

Well, I just recently learned the existence of this website: Notpron (http://www.notpron.org/notpron/) - "The hardest riddle available on the internet" (not sure if true but that is their slogan XD), after the official account of Reddit posted something this morning recommending 'what people can do at home during the lockdown periods'.

I immediately tried it out and it was really fun. I love puzzles like this and I myself have even created something similar. It reminds me of CTF (Capture the Flag) competitions. XD

Anyways, it seems there are 140 Levels and so far only 67 people have managed to solve them all since 2004!!!

Anyways, without further ado here are the first 5 Levels: Again if you want to try it yourself here's the link: http://www.notpron.org/notpron/

Level 1

Probably the easiest one. Clicking the door on the image above brings you to level 2. XD

Level 2

Still easy but might be a little tricky to some. The most unusual thing about the image above is the "hand sign pointing upwards". To be exact, it is pointing at the "number 2" so changing "2" to "3" brings you to Level 3.

Level 3

Some of you might have know how to solve this after seeing the url of this level. So yeah, changing "false" to "true" brings you to level 4. It is also worth to note that the title of this level is "Turn me ON!" which clearly refers to the TRUE/FALSE or 1-0.

Interestingly, this is also the first level where it's not anymore an image that was given but a .gif. I tried to split the gif and got the image below which clearly hints at the "false" on the url.

Level 4

The first thing I noticed on this level was that the Circle (seems like a clock to me) is clickcable. After clicking it, a pop-up appears asking for a "username" and a "password:.

If you go back on Level 4. You might have noticed that the Title of the page is "Look in the dark". The dark part seems to have some lines and dots. A classic Morse code!

Get any Morse Code Translator online or this: https://morsecode.world/international/translator.html and you'll get "VOODOO" and "MAGIC" which brings you to level 5.
