Haha, I bet you had a lot of fun watching Sammy. Sometimes people will certainly feed him, otherwise he wouldn't come back I think - I wouldn't 😉
We have seen a fascinating show in the Schönbrunn Zoo in Vienna where Sea lions also were shown. That was really cool.

Ah! So you saw them in action already, but those must have been tamed?
This guy is wild and yet I think his heart is where his free food is lol.
Marian saw him first while I was taking a photo of a seagull and she asked me what it was.
I swung around and oh man, I was so happy.
Took about 500 photos for the day hahaha.

So, how was your Friday Hannes?

Cheers and thanks!

Of course they are tamed and play with their humans. But they do it for food, just like Sammy I think 😉

500 images is a lot, Zac. Sometimes after a weekend I have just as many or more and I hate to look through all to sort the bad ones out. That takes so much time.

Well, after the ride to my parents it was more or less a lazy hot afternoon and now I enjoy the cooler evening.

I would rather like them to be set free Hannes.

At times I can take more in a day depending on where we are. My habit is to take a few shots of everything, as I don't edit photos and with a few on one sublect, I can pick the best one lol.
You are right, as the sorting of the blurs and faulty shots is always a pain.

If you and I want to become overnight millionaires, then we must design a camera that automatically deletes imperfect photos hahahah.

We also have great peace during the cooler evenings in summer, as all of the animals have eaten and they are in their beds hahaha.

Cheers and thanks!

Good morning Zac,

of course all animals should be free, but I also think that zoos are a good thing, because people can see animals they would never see otherwise, as long as the zoo offers the animals a good and respected life.

But what if the camera deletes also the shots which are intentionally blurred or underexposed? We need a camera with a very good AI 😉

Good morning Hannes. Hope you had a good rest.

I agree in a way with you about the zoo's, but just cannot get myself to visit them.
My idea about animals is that they should all be free to live their lives in wide open spaces.
I don't like anything that is caged or kept in camps for the rest of their lives.
Just my own view here!

Yeah, you are right, so time for you to start studying AI, so that we can start the business when you are retired hahahah.

Cheers and thanks!

Good evening Zac,
thank you, I had a good rest ... in the afternoon in the shadow 😉 but it was too hot anyway.

Of course, I completely agree with you, but I think of the animals which are endangered in freedom and the ones which were born in zoos and such, but as said, I agree with you.

So you want a mountain goat to study AI? Well, you have great trust 😉

Greetings Hannes.
As I logged in now your message came in, we seem to have the same timing hahaha.

I mentioned you in my post today, as when I took some macros of my first early Spring butterfly today, I remembered that you said you were going to take some macros this morning.

Yes, the zoo story is always heartbreaking to me. Those little ones that they breed in the zoos will never survive in the wild. But the new babies draw visitors and they are also replenishing their stock,
Glad that you agree with me, as I have nothing against the zoo visitors. It's just the system of entrapment that I don't like.

Of course I have great trust in you. Else we would not be chatting away over here hahaha.

Cheers and thanks!

Hi Zac,

seems so - at about 7pm I mostly post and do my commenting/replying work.

Nobody and also no animal should be held in cages or locked up, apart from the ones who deserve it ;)

The mountain goat bleats Meeh thank you 😁

My pleasure Hannes, we have certainly become great friends and to think that we were both here for so long before realizing that we have many commonalities.

Good night my friend and know that you and your family are on our prayer list.

Meeh!
