Today I bring you the last publication of this tutorial that is nothing more than the summary of a MasterClass that I am dictating at the beginning of each month in the community of @ubikalo. This time I will be explaining why everyone comes: to make money publishing. I must make it clear that no publication will have the guarantee that it will get a vote, we must work hard to start earning these votes by making community, leaving comments, and voting the publications of other users as far as possible.

Once we enter through https://hive.blog/ we will go to the top right corner, next to our profile will appear a small pencil, here we will start writing. The blog is arranged in several parts, and depending on how you have it configured you can write above and see the preview below, or as I have it, one next to the other.

The first box we will see on the left-hand side will be the place to write the title. I recommend putting a title as striking and not so long as possible so that it can attract the curators. I don't consider that you should put it in both languages, you can choose only one and make the caveat that it is written in both languages.

And then there is a bigger box where we will start to develop our post. On the right side, we will be able to see how it is looking (or below, depending on the configuration).

HTML Y MARKDOWN

There is something very important to consider, sometimes, to have more visibility, we must make a quality publication, adding images, fonts, centering, justifying, among many other options that we have to make our blog a more striking site. All this is achieved through some codes that accept the platform called HTML or you can also use Markdown. Sites like Peakd already have the two tools predetermined, but they do not have all the options, so there are some tutorials like the one from @victoriabsb in which he explains in detail how to use these tools correctly: 🌟Tutorial de Markdown COMPLETO🌟 |Traducción Autorizada

¿hive.blog o Peakd?

In all the time I have been on hive, I have spent half of it using hive.blog and the other half using Peakd, and I have really found Peakd to be wonderful to use. Peakd is a front end to hive, it is a web application that you can access with your Hive keys, and everything you post here you can see on hive.blog (and vice versa) I emphasize this so that you are not going to post twice the same content on both pages because what you would do would be replicating your post. It has many powerful tools such as Markdown and HTML, cross-posting, among others.

We have options when publishing as the selection of the cover and reward options, and advanced settings such as setting a maximum reward in the post, percentages to beneficiaries and put some author who has helped or made the post, this works when the account is a project, for example. We also have options such as the Reward App, in which you would receive 50% of rewards that correspond to you in cash.

To enter we can do it in three ways, with Keychain, which is an extension that you can add to your browser, with peacklock, which is a very good application in which you only have to add your private keys, and then you will enter them with a 5 digit numeric pin and with Hivesigner. Once inside you can see in the menu the different options that Peakd has for us, which is much more extensive than hive.blog.

Another great thing is its well-organized wallet, which also has the option of observing the price of Hive and HBD in real-time, which helps us a lot when it comes to obtaining benefits and seeing how our content is being monetized.

Now I will give you some general tips to make good publications and at least with these you will know that you are doing things correctly. These tips won't ensure you get any votes, but they can put you in the right direction.

38.jpg

It's easy to say but it's not: DON'T PLAGIARIZE OR ABUSE! There are some friends called the @hivewatchers, who are attentive that users do not commit any kind of abuse on the platform when they see that someone committed plagiarism, and if this user has a good amount of votes, they will do something called downvote and will take away all the rewards that could have their publication.

39.jpg

Deben creerme, te van a encontrar.

How do you know you are abusing?

**Copying and pasting text from other people, books, pages, Facebook statuses, and other social networks and passing them off as your own is plagiarism. And doing all this and also paraphrasing it to pass it off as your own is also plagiarism and it's the worst because you do it knowing that you can't be found. Believe me, they will find you. The best thing to do is to be original, use your voice to say what you want to say and how you want to say it. You don't need to use other people's material in order to generate income on Hive.

**If it is necessary to use an excerpt from a publication or an image, you must share the link in the post. You can also quote by publishing the source. Copying and pasting a text and placing the source and just adding a little more text will not get rid of Hivewatchers, for the text to be considered as yours, you must have at least 80% of your post written in your words.

The images you use must be copyright-free and must not have watermarks. You are monetizing your content, and all copyrighted material should be getting part of the profit you generate by using someone else's material.

ROYALTY-FREE IMAGE BANK:

40.jpg

No hacer Spam.

Do not spam. Share links in the publications of other users, ask them to vote for you or follow you, do not make generic comments like: "what a good post". Posting content with a single image and very little text is also considered Spam, as well as doing the same thing several times a day.

No to multi-accounts. Although there are exceptions, having multiple accounts is also considered as an abuse of the platform because you would be creating another account to take advantage of the platform's resources.

41.jpg

ETIQUETAS

Tags

Tags are used to classify and filter posts and for curators to find posts. There are many questions regarding which tags to use and sometimes even I have a hard time deciding which one to use but I have a system that I would like to share with you:

  • Topic of your post: food, movies, video games, personal life, music.
  • Spanish (if the post is in Spanish).
  • Posh: this tag is short for proof of share, with this tag we know that you are sharing your posts on traditional social networks like Facebook or Twitter, when you share your post on Twitter you will get a default message from a bot with a copy of your Twitter link.
  • Tribe tags: these tags tend to give you some tokens if you are voted by those who have tokens on these (palnet, leofinance, neoxian, creativecoin, or foodie if it is about food).
  • If you feel you are missing one, don't use anything else, you don't have to fill the post with the 10 tags you can include.
  • Do not use tags like ocd, gems, appreciator, trafalgar. These are whales that don't use these tags to vote, so you are wasting some space that you can use for some other.

42.jpg

Comunidades

Communities

Communities are the place where you can publish your post depending on your content or topic. There are communities so you can talk about everything, and if it doesn't exist you can create one. To create a community you only need 3 HIVE.

43.jpg

You can access the communities through the community tag or by searching for it in the platform's search engine.

44.jpg

Once subscribed, you can post directly to the community through New post on hive.blog.

45.jpg

When you are in Hive.blog, it will appear after the previous step that you are writing in the community of your choice, in this case, GEMS.

46.jpg

In peakd, after subscribing, you can access all the communities directly in the creation of your post. You just have to change the option where you want to publish from My Blog to any of the communities.

Comunidades Activas:

Links a Comunidades/ Links to Communities :

There are many more communities you can join that I'm sure I've skipped here, but we can all just go to the communities and look for what we like best.

As for languages, you are not helpless. Many users of the platform already use a good translator, but not everyone knows the tool to improve the grammar of our posts in English, so I will leave you the links to both:

These guides I have made have been fairly basic; Hive is much more extensive than what I have done in these three guides. This is for new users to have a little broad and light outline of what is hive. I hope these are very useful and I am always at your service for whatever you need. There are many guides that can help you, but I explicitly recommend the translations of the official Hive FAQ by @jauregui98 FAQ 1 - FAQ 2 - [FAQ 3](https://peakd. com/hive-186377/@jauregui98/faq-most-frequently-asked-questions-about-hiveblog-or-translation-into-English-part-3) - FAQ 4 - [FAQ 5](https://peakd. com/hive-186377/@jauregui98/faq-most-frequently-asked-questions-about-hiveblog-or-translation-into-English-part-5) - FAQ 6 . I also recommend that you read the translation of the Whitepaper translated into Spanish.
