I once read that on average, tall people earn statistically significantly more than short people, so that means that a short couple, is likely to have a child who earns less than a tall couple.

Lol, being a 6ft guy, you give me hope😛

Anyone locked in a room without free access to food will lose weight - including me.

I wish there was a room where we could lock ourselves from all our problems and lose sadness....lol, there is none.

A lot of people in this world are predisposed to live a certain kind of lifestyle just based on which part of the world they are born in.

I see that people born in west, USA, UK, Australia, have an added benefit. They have more liberal parents, more opportunities in life. All their focus in life is to live a happy life, to make money, to get a job of their choice. To live with a person of their choice.

Whereas one who is born in middle east, live all his life under chaos. If a person is born in the wrong part of the world, 99% chance is that they will spend all their life fighting the circumstances around them.

There are possibilities that if one has enough will power or the mindset to get out of certain situation the person will get out.

But then I look around myself. Most of the people around me live in a different kind of world. They have such a limited mindset that a person from outside can never imagine. For them, life is like a struggle. And they have to struggle every day just to get by.

Because I have dozens of books, I was able to change my mindset a little bit. Believe that I can change my life. I have tried to explain a lot of people that it doesn't matter what kind of situation you were born in, or grew up you can change that.

For example, a cousin of mine was quite rich when I was a kid. His father was alcoholic, lost his life because of alcohol.
Now, he is just 40. He lives under debt. Severe alcoholic. Almost died 4-5 times in last couple of years because of alcohol. I have tried explaining him that change is possible, but he can not understand.

My surrounding is filled with people like that. Losers, complainers, toxic people.

What I think is the worst path is when we become passive and sit back and blame the world for not being suitable for us and become bitter and resentful because we don't "fit in" to where we want to fit in - even if it isn't suited to who we are, or more importantly perhaps - who we could be.

I have a lot of years in my life complaining and regreting that a lot of people around me always complain about their life. That they didn't had enough money, they could not live a good life. They never had a good job.

Of course, you become what you are surrounded by.

Although I had a different mindset but I still complained in my life about a lot of things.

But then, recently, I read a post, and realized, whatever happened in my past, I can take it as a positive experience. Learn from all the complainers not to complain about life. It doesn't solve anything.

Learn from all the losers that sitting back doesn't solve anything.

Lol, sorry for such a long reply.

No pont worrying about sadness - it comes and goes like the wind.

If a person is born in the wrong part of the world, 99% chance is that they will spend all their life fighting the circumstances around them.

Yes, it is a sad fact and there is unfortunately no way around it. No matter how "equal" things get, there will always be relative difference.

My surrounding is filled with people like that. Losers, complainers, toxic people.

It is a hard surrounding to stay positive in, I assume. I guess the best path is to find the best among the group and work together to improve, even baby steps make for large differences later.

Learn from all the losers that sitting back doesn't solve anything.

Everything has a lesson in it :) I wish you well on your continued journey and hope that the Hive community helps you and many others improve their conditions.

Yepp, being around focused and motivated people helps. If I can't be around such people offline, I can be around such people online.

I have found a lot of such people on twitter and hive. Love these new energy. That's why I read your posts almost daily. Sometimes a bad day turns into good because I have read something good online and my thought process changes.

Just like your post. I thought about it a lot, and reminded myself that it doesn't matter what my surroundings are, my mindset matters the most.

Thanks a lot for sharing such good content daily🙂
