MyPictureDay Submission : My Everyday African Reality to Work.

As usual, we all have to work to eat. So I decided to take some pictures of my road to work. It was not really fun for me cause the sun was scotching but I had fun trying to secretly take a shot of the road with people pretending to be viewing my phone in a sunny weather.

This is somewhere in Nigeria, the mainland of Lagos.

Am not a photographer but I took this shot and I edited them, I hope I tried though : )

Well, that is one of the street at Lagos in Nigeria. Can you sight the hilly vegetation down there? It is such a place I would love to go some day, but not just me alone, I heard they rape girls there, I think I changed my mind entirely : |

This is the road to where where am going to. Your feet could actually get dusty before you even get to work : (

Some girls hawking for their daily bread. We call them hardworking Nigerians, I am too at least. That is vegetables on their head, in our culture we call it "ugwu".

Am still heading to work and I saw another hardworking dude hawking fruits. Actually I wish I had so much cash on me, you see those carrots, I would have bought all of it. Am just a carrot freak.

This guy was attempting to mount the bike until he heard the price to his destination.

He ran with speed. Hahaha!

I saw a nice tree here and decided to take a shot. I guess the saturation was a bit too much, pardon me, am really new to this : )

Small businesses to keep body and soul together. Buying tomatoes openly is our everyday lives here. Hahaha!

Haven't I gotten to work yet? What a long Walk to work. Phew!

A woman tired of hawking, decided to take some rest. She also asked me what the time was, guess she had limited time to rest in order for her to get much for the day.

We do get tired too, I mean very tired with the sunny day.

Still moving on.
