Answer the second question from the @theycallmedan initiative. #HiveBasics

On this occasion I will try to answer the second question from the #hivebasics initiative from @theycallmedan.
Please refer to and give comments if my opinion is not right and I will receive guidance from you.

At present the value depends largely on the value traded against Bitcoin on the cryptocurrency exchange. That's because the Hive platform's user base is still quite small like me and some of them. as with any other social media / content delivery platform. HIVE has a value proposition as the original base layer token of a decentralized platform that offers content creators freedom from censorship and demonetization. In my opinion this is quite reasonable, I continue to understand for two days after seeing the initiative of @theycallmedan. But this platform is at an early stage and hasn't created too much content in it.

Now, when it comes to hive then the value came from the core of hive blockchain as the adoption of hive increases the value will become more strong, sometimes an exchange listing boosts the price but the the time it all depends of the progress of the project. As community is the main thing on hive then you can also say that the value of hive came from the community.
