What other best ways to survey your territory than to pick the best and only Vantage point like this Big-Horned mountain goat? The Ibex is known to be expert mountain climbers, they could attain heights beyond human reckoning at breath taking speeds humans can not keep up to. Yeah, Humans have climbed to the apex of the highest peaks in the world but with advanced gadgets, but these guys have just two special tools which nature bestowed unto them, I'll be discussing it as you read along.

The Ibex, a gravity defying Ruminant is equipped with sharp hoofs that pins into the rocks as it climbs making friction its allies, scientifically; four feet animals don't get drowsy from heights, so that's gave them another edge over us humans who climbs with all the sophisticated equipments and still plumage to death in some cases.

Found mostly in some Asian and Middle East mountains, especially in Pakistan, the Ibex is very territorial and that makes them a formidable problems for each other, they live in colonies, in packs, an attribute of social animals like wolf packs and prides or Lions.

However, irrespective of their agility and acrobatic instincts, these badass daredevils have two major natural enemies aside being hunted by humans for sports, food and their hides. The Golden and Bald Eagles or any other bird of prey of the Eagle family is their archenemies besides themselves. These bird or preys can not carry an Ibex Kill in normal flight, so they swoop down on these goats and throw them off the highest cliffs. When the goats falls to it's death, the Eagles lands to enjoy its meals and take stock back to their nests.

The other enemy is themselves as I stated earlier, these happens during mating seasons. These animals have been known to throw each other off the cliff in the quest for territory dominance and mating rights. Adults males fight to death sometimes just to have the girls for their selves. Its not so strange considering humans share same traits with these badass Big Horns when it comes to the opposite sex...haha

Damn those birds can be wicked. I once watched a documentary where these desert herdsmen train eagles to kill wolves that attack their herds...bruh, that was when I agreed that Eagles are hella dangerous!

Their claws could gut a full grown adult in one swoop, and their Talons are like a Stone Knife. Thankfully we don't have them in 9ja, all those goats and pets go don die commot...
