A river of snow water!

A song of health and peace to all Hivers here!

We heard some stories about the town being flooded in the past by a combination of rain and snow water. Thankfully this year we didn't have a big snowfall on the mountains and we decided to take a drive to go and have a look at the river!
Come drive with us!

But first let's take a walk on the clouds at sunrise!

This was our moon today and I love the blue sky.
We had some dark stormy weather lately and it was so nice to have a cold, but clear day again!

Right, here we go on the first part of the drive. You can see that the mountain is not very far from our place!

That's where we are going, right at the bottom, as this road ends at the river.
Normally we go another way that ends up in the wild parts, but not today as the cold and my wanky left leg don't walk well together!

We have arrived and look at what popped out to come and have a look at us!

Ah! This is what we came to see and the sound of the water was urgent!

Nothing beats watching and hearing the forces of nature at work!

The water rough and tumbled over every obstacle in its way!

Imagine that sound becoming a thousand fold. So loud that it drums into one's soul, as that's the sound when it floods!

Look who was waiting for us at home!

They say that life is what it is and I although I am somehow fond of the saying, I have a feeling that it is not quite true. I can understand that life can ruin any of our well designed plans, but I also understand that we can make our own lives.
For instance, we could have stayed at home today and we would never have seen this.

There's another thing that I understand. Nobody is ever going to get anywhere in life if they are not prepared to put anything in.
The saying; you shall reap what you sow sounds very apt here.
We cannot expect to receive things on a silver platter if we are not prepared to work for it.
