Late afternoon at the lonely beach!

Some stunning photos here so come and join us for a stroll!

One of our favorite times to take a casual walk and to watch the birds packing it up for the day. The ocean was preparing for the night time high tide event and the animals know that the entire beach will be covered by water.
Tomorrow is another day is what they say lol.

A late sunbeam streaked across the ebbing water surfaces!

Mister Kingfisher above drying off in the late sun!
I was surprised as he allowed me to creep up on him, slowly, slowly!

302.JPG

Just a beautiful pattern here of the sand shaped by the water streams!

This Cormorant was also drying to prepare for home time!

Some ponds reflecting the time of day!

Finished with the daily search for food he came stolling out of the waves.

And here another one goes, done for the day and as he took off I kept an eye on him!

Surprise, surprise, on the way he was joined by his partner and here they cross with the moon in the background!

And That's All for today folks!

A late stroll on a deserted beach with the breaking sound of the waves in one's ear delivers upmost peace of mind.
Especially where Father time is concerned, as one gets the feeling that everything is as it should be.
Yes, we complicate life and so many of us run around thinking that the world turns around us and that we are the most important beings in the universe.

But, no, we are only tiny frail specks at the mercy of the air that we breathe. Life has existed long before us and by the way that we carry on maltreating nature, some forms of life will continue after us. My bet is that nature will lick it's wounds and reclaim all of her territories.
As it was at the beginning, just so it will be at the end.
Think about it!

Such lovely bird life at the beach and some incredible photos - especially the pair of seagulls flying by the moon!
Thanks for sharing!

Thank you. I love the sea at that time of the day, especially as there are no people around and one can just let your mind go.
Videod a little crab with a broken shell, fighting with another one to get its shell.
Amazing place, the sea, my friend.

Beautiful birds. I haven't seen all of them before in real life.
They're so cute. I don't think they can withstand the hot sun here in Nigeria no wonder I haven't seen any. 😂😂😂

Thank you very much for the beautiful pictures. I look forward to seeing more.

Pity that you haven't seen them. The birds concentrate mainly at southern tip of the African continent.
Once again I am glad that you liked the photos.

There is no problem. I have to deal with our own birds in my country.

Thank you very much for your response.
Awesome ❤️❤️
