Nipping into the Harbor!
Lockdown here and tight security!
Glad that we could get the bags of rice for the feeding scheme, as many desperate poor souls will get hot food. In a good mood we drove to the harbor, the guy at the gate opened and welcomed me as Captain Smith and we were in. Into my dreams of course Lol
Looks like some kind of jubilee sail boat
There were many kinds of boats here, but any harbor has them and I focused more on special things
Looking towards the left of the small harbor here above
Now to to have a look at the sky and the mountains in the distance
The name "Ou Boeta" means "Old Brother" and reminded me of a friend called G-Dog!
How I would like to take a trip in that baby!
One last look at the harbor on our way out!
We took a different route across the top of the beach on our way back!
Finally we were in the clear and on our way home!
And That's All Folks!
We hope that you have enjoyed the pictures and tomorrow I will show you a post about how we feed poor people during the lockdown!
Thank you for visiting a post by @papilloncharity
You're living in a really nice area, having the beach so close to you and probably getting there whenever you feel like.
Yeah, but we are in lockdown at the moment my friend.
We had to go out to collect the rice for the feeding and I included the harbor as a part of the trip.
Once the lockdown is over, we certainly go there any time.
We should end the lock down by ourselves. Whoever is afraid of the virus should stay inside.
Not as long as there are governments around to enforce their rules my friend. They will always insist in ruling over the masses!
And they will succeed as long as the masses will allow that.
So true my friend. So true!
The super zoom really works well, the photo is very clear. Did you use tripod?
Thank you and no my friend, I shoot free hand!
Take care!

Lucky you didn't get arrested my friend! Your camera zoom works really well! I'm sooo tired of this lockdown and our government dragging their heels, thank goodness you can lend a helping hand with feeding those desperate people! Bless you and your lovely wife @papilloncharity.
I took the decision to get the bags of rice Lady Lizelle and as there was nobody at the harbor, I did not place anyone in any danger including us.
So I think that things worked out well.
Just have to ask Joan not to share this post.
Hear now that level 3 will start at the end of the month.
Blessings.
Very cool, if I had such a boat, I'd ditch my apartment and would simply live there! 😄
Oh yeah, we all dream of that my friend.
Even thought of building my own houseboat, but time and money are scarce :)
Thank you for the visit!

Glad you were able to get the rice and some very nice boats in that harbor, clearly a lot of money there
Have a great day
Oh yeah there were some big bucks floating around there JJ.
See the house palaces up on that mountain side?
They are extremely expensive in the millions and 95% of them are shuttered and locked up.
The owners only use them as their holiday homes and the rest of the year they stand empty.
Ohh yeah I noticed those, we have a few like that in the city I live big places by the water, that the owners live and work in NYC and these are their summer weekend properties and sit empty all the rest of the year crazy
Problem is that the palaces here are only occupied for 3 weeks every year, during our annual holidays in December.
They cannot come here for weekends as it is too far away.
seems such a waste when so many are homeless there
Problem with tenants here JJ, is that in a year or two, the property will look like a dump. Ruined for sure.
People break doors and windows and believe it or not, even ceilings.
The electricity was cut to one house in winter due to non payment and the tenants made an open fire in the dining room.
I have to admit thats why I have never considered buying property for rental income, even here the tenants abuse properties but not as bad as there
but then again I could never have afforded to buy one lOL

Thank you for the tip and we can also only afford what we have.
I have never been big on material things have enough to be happy has always been more than enough for me
That's the way of wisdom my friend.
The less that you have, the less that you have to worry about.
yes indeed that second line is so true I had not really thought of it that way
Old viking sail boat looks stunning, more modern runners don't do it quite the same, too much money.
I see the hills are also closing up with expensive accommodation, perched above the sea line spoiling my view...
So glad you made the run without any untoward events, no I don't share to FB except my own posts, not like old days no one even reads in there I am sure. Sum total of FB stay is family and some friends around the world.
A lot of money floating about in that little harbor Lady Joan.
Took a drive up on that mountain side. Some palaces up there and most of them shuttered and locked up. Holiday houses for the millionaires.
Too much money in the hands of too few, around the corner without a view you see squalor living conditions!
Still upsetting seeing development going up along the mountain side.
The place where we feed is not too far from those palaces my friend.
Always an eyesore and that's why memories are so precious.
The stands are tiny but they build up and let me tell you that those entrance gradients are almost 45 degrees up.
When it rains, not even a 4x4 will get up there.
But of course the glass enclosed lounges and balconies will have a view into the future.
And now we are at the harbour! - still no one kiting :D
Hey,the harbor was locked down dear Liz.
Only the birds had freedom. Lol.😀
