What a joke!

The news in Belgium today is all about the first person to be vaccinated against Covid-19 in our country. It is like this person just invented the hot water. There was even live news coverage of this. I kid you not! And the maddest part is, the person is 96 years old! The second person was even a 102 years old. A lady from Wallonia. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that these people shouldn't be vaccinated, if they want to. But wouldn't it be smarter to first vaccinate the staff of the nursing home they are living in? So, these people don't infect the inhabitants anymore? Just my two cents there.

And there is the madness of our country. Apparently it will take a whole year to vaccinate our entire country. While in Israël they plan to do this in three months. I have said it before, but I really live in some kind of banana republic. Nothing can be done fast and thoroughly here. Not even one of the two is possible. At this rate, we all will be wearing masks and be distancing by 2030...
