Today in our society, there are many parents who just produce and do not cater for them. Most
Of the taunt we have on the street are as the result of irresponsibility of parents and family. The ideal parents should be able to make provision for the well-being of the children. He or she should be one that will be able to impact good manners into the children, regulate their relationship with people and their conduct in the society.

A good parents should set good example for the children and ideally should not be of bad character. They should be able to guide their children from negative external forces and should not leave them on their own. There should be a good rapport between the two parties. Child abuse, whether verbally or physically, should not take place. They should not overlook the children's needs because of his/her jobs, although they have to earn a living.

For Mrs. R.A Adenuga, the mother plays the most and major role in the upbringing of the child as she claimed. The Bible says that we teach a child the right way, which is the way of God, so that he will give you rest. An ideal parents should give her child, especially the girl child, the needed moral education towards marriage. Most parents have refused to monitor the kinds of companies they keep and the kinds of clothes they wear. Forgetting that it's our duty to caution our children whenever they go wrong.

We should also inculcate the fear of God in them, teach them the way of God, lead in the right path, health and even the much avoided sex education. If we do not teach them these things from home, they tend to go out and make mistakes, due to the misinformation from their peers.
As adults, leaders in the society, we should always endeavour to lay good examples for our younger ones or followers. Ensuring that children are not denied their basic rights, such as education, medical care, good clothes, food and shelter.
He ensures that the interest of the family comes first before any other thing. He also spend more time with their kids.

This enables the parents to detect any problem with the child and he seeks a way of solving it, because it is not all matters that children feel free to talk about, with their parents.
Take time out to study the character and behavioural attitudes of your children, give them moral instructions about the activities of life, so that when they too grow up and start having children, they will have the good instructions to pass onto their children.

Finally, as a good father and mother, never fail to rebuke a child's wrong deeds instead of overlooking or pampering them, as this may encourage the child to commit a more punishable offence, which even the parent will not be able to bear.
The inculcation of good morals in the child is the major thing that makes an ideal parents.
