The Boho Heritage - My Dream Project

Hello there to all you beautiful people!🎀

I know it's been about two whole months now and all you've seen from me so far is my introduction.🙈 You have no idea how hard it's became to function. As I sit in my hotel room in Bangalore chilling, I'm writing up this post. @bighungrypanda has been behind me every single day from the last 2 months asking me put up a post and well here I am finally doing that.😂

I'm in Bangalore right now attending my mums classmates Son's wedding so I finally have some free time to write (More about Bangalore in the upcoming posts Hopefully🙈)

I'm super thrilled to introduce myself @.shama._ as the face behind @the.boho.heritage After months of contemplating and second guessing, here I am, sharing my passion project with you all.

It was not long ago when I first came across macramé. Honestly, I had not heard of macrame until then. It was not a term I was familiar with. But with every search about macramé, I knew I had to try my hands on this art. In the days that followed by, my interest in this art form only grew and I was mind blown by this versatile form of fiber art.

What started as a fun hobby, progressed into this little project that I've put my heart and soul into. I started learning from watching a few Youtube videos and then practiced a lot. I was always extremely obsessed with handmade crafts when I was a little girl, so the art of tying knots came very naturally to me once I began transitioning into making macrame.

Macrame is very therapeutic to me and has a way to create an escape from the stress which is in all of our lives. Macrame sets my soul free, allows me to be creative, and sparks joy in my heart. It gives me balance in my life, and I believe the pieces reflect that.

I have loved every bit of this journey. I love shopping for products, designing pieces, measuring, cutting materials and tying hundreds of intricate knots to make this art. To be able to finally present it today, I'm truly overwhelmed. I'm humbled and grateful for all the support I've received from my friends and family. I love you and appreciate y'all so much!
