Have a nice day! Today we will go to the pottery fair. There will be a lot of clay dishes and various Souvenirs... it is Known that pottery appeared in the Mesolithic era (the first burnt vessel is associated with this period). Although, interestingly, the original craftsmen used clay not as a pliable material for dishes, but as a natural "dough" for sculpting figurines and animals.

Most likely, such products were of a ritual nature and belonged to totems and wards...

In our time, this craft is experiencing a new round of popularity.

From these cups, even simple water will seem delicious. In an earthenware dish, the liquid remains cool for a long time and does not cool down so quickly.

I checked it once with milk. In such jars, it is stored longer. This is probably why in Kuban villages all Housewives always used clay dishes.

You have totally spoiled me with the clay pottery!!! You know it is one of my favorites and just look how awesome they all are! The colors and paint patterns are vibrant and happy - it would make anyone receiving one of them joyous!

The ones with the silly faces are funny and I know that takes a bit of a creative mind to get those going! I really like the elephant one and that was hard to choose as they were all pretty nice.
