An exciting day, full of fun!!!
Today, because of the corona, I only had to ride a bike in "free" territory. So I drove to the Smederevo Fortress. Since it is the largest fortress in the Middle Ages that was built. There is too much space, so there are long biking trails.
In that fort there were also knightly battles between different states. After making a few big lumps riding my bike, I headed into the next "free" territory, it's the town square.
It's really great to ride a bike in that Smedereva main square. In addition to cycling, I also enjoyed the beautiful buildings located on the main city square. There is a beautiful Orthodox church, which is huge. That church also has a great history. A few meters from it is a beautiful, huge municipal court building, which also has a history. There is also a gymnasium building that was almost reconstructed and is now beautiful and in good fresh condition.
Then I drove to the beautiful Wine Town, which is located in one part of the main square. That town is made of barrels that are up to 200 years old. They were once used to store wine, and now they are made for the needs of that wine city.
To finish your ride on the long trail that lies next to the beautiful Danube River. Walking along that river that also has its history. It completely calms me down either riding a bike or walking.
I also noticed a beautiful swan family in the Danube. Swans I like to watch.
It was a beautiful sunny day, and despite all these events that I experienced today, I am now writing this post full of happiness, and I can happily go to sleep.
